The
Designer
Lucie Watt is a freelance designer. In 2000,
she decided to use her artistic skills to explore the world
of the internet by taking an extensive number of university
courses, and online classes. Lucie now designs websites by emphasizing
professionalism, usability and simplicity. She adapts to the
clients' needs by framing their vision and their target, but
also reflecting their personality, as she advises and provides
support beyond the creation of the site.
Lucie has always enjoyed creating, since the
Beaux Arts classes of her childhood in France to today's internet
in her New Hampshire home, from classic to hi-tech. She enjoys
discovering new techniques in all areas of creation. Lucie's
artistic experiences include drawing, painting and jewelry creation,
photography and sculpture is still on her list to explore. Most
importantly, Lucie is as comfortable to design with computers,
adding her creative and artistic flare.
Websites are wonderful marketing tools and
each situation should be a unique experience. Lucie firmly believes
that a custom design is a necessity and websites should be reviewed
regularly in order to achieve the goals of the owner. Users
and their needs are in constant evolution and websites requiring
regular monitoring to be efficient and effective. Sometimes
redesign is an option, or realignment might be just enough.
Lucie will take on your project, at whatever
stage or size, to make it your own unique space while meeting
your own high standards and personality. Your ultimate satisfaction
is extremely important.
In June 2008, along with two friends as partners, Lucie launched a new company,
wavyo [way-vy-o]. Using recycled materials, they design and create wavyo products with
limited edition art work. Wavyo provides a stylish alternative for daily
living, that will encourage people to reduce waste and consume with a
conscience. This new challenge was possible for Lucie by combining
her knowledge and experiences through the years in business, marketing,
graphic design and web design.
